  15. Hugh Says:

I’m in two minds with regards to this film. In terms of portraying the Liverpool underworld, it has not got a patch on Shooters! In saying that after a dodgy start an poor scouse accent by ratter, the plot is good with a very good finish. Worth a watch. I can see a possible sequal.

  16. dougy Says:

This film depicts Merseyside gangster life very well. Realistic and totally compelling to watch. Blistering and powerful, with gratuitous violence and brutal beating scenes. The movie is, if you’ve seen This Is England, very good and very convincing.

This film is quality. If you like this try and get hold of “Goin’ Off Big Time” another Mersey gangster film added humour written by Neil Fitzmaurice and starring Neil Fitzmaurice, Bernard Hill, Peter Kay and Stan Boardman. These films make a change from all that cockney London gangster bollocks.

  34. Sam Says:
