Highest-paid actors in Hollywood

Most people have not pegged the Pirates of the Caribbean Johnny Depp to become the highest-paid actor in Hollywood. The first Pirates brought in $ 654 million at the global box office and 3-D update of Alice in Wonderland has grossed $ 1 billion at the box office. This means that studios are willing to give big paycheck to get a bit of the Depp magic. Ben Stiller with $ 53 million grabbed the second position, earning big bucks for ?Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian?. Tom Hanks took the third place while Adam Sander ranks fourth with $ 40 million. George Clooney is grieved with 10th place. The ranks of highest-paid actors in Hollywood are based on estimate of each star?s earning from films and endorsements from June 2009 to June 2010.
